The Frog Prince Continued?

We all know the story behind the princess and the frog, and the magic kiss, and the spell, and blah blah blah. Well apparently there is more to the story, and Jon Scieszka told it all.

So....... And they lived happily ever after! The End!

       NOT!!

They were not happy for a long time, and..... this is not the end!

The prince and the princess were driving each other nuts. The couldn't stand each other for the longest time. I guess the romance wore off. With her complaining every 6 seconds, and him jumping off the furniture, turning into a couch potato, he needed to find out why they are the way they are and fix it. And I don't mean marriage counselling, I mean he wants a divorce! Just kidding, but even worse, he wants to be a frog again, so he can be happy alone. So he fled to the woods to find a witch to turn him back. He finds three witches, who were screws up other being lives (previous fairy tales he had read about) and not being of any help. Then he runs into a fairy godmother. She helps him, without giving him what he wants. She turns him into a carriage, where he is now lonely and depressed in the woods. Thinking about what he has done, the thought of him being dumb and ungrateful crosses his mind. Maybe he should've just worked on his marriage and treated and appreciated his princess. The clock strikes midnight, and he's a person again. Running back home to his worried princess, they talk about love and blah blah, kiss and now they're both frogs! Finally to live happily ever after!

Now its The End! I think.

We all know this fairy tale.tall tale story isn't real, nor true, but as a piece of old children's literature I decided to write about this book because I love fairy tales, they were my favorite as a child. Not to mention this art work in this book, scary but cool, bold, but dark. I guess he did his job making it look the way it should, to grab the readers eyes.

A group talk about being grateful would e a cool assignment to do relating to this book. We has humans have to understand not everything in life is perfect, but we have to be grateful for what we have, Don't take anything for granted. Which brings me to another thing I can do with this book, have the kids tell one thing they love more than they hate. For instance, sometimes I hate having a cell phone. All the ringing, my grandmother keeps calling, cant find my charger, etc. BUT this past weekend, my phone was ruined! Sitting in a puddle of bubbles for over 2 hours, it would work! I cried for days, I was so lonely without it, bored out of my mind. Emailing instead of texting is horrible. But now its back working, and I will not take that phone for granted anymore LOL!

1) Name something you love and would never take for granted.
2) Would you ever kiss a frog?
3) If you had to ask a witch for one wish, what would it be?
